31 Glenbervie Terrace








Set in a large rambling house, you enter by climbing through a bay window and down a narrow set of stairs, into a hall with an open fire and unravelling wallpaper. Otherwise known as 'The Moorings,' it was built in 1904 but is noted for the addition of the hall in the 1920s. Tonight memories were recounted of the place; "an example of what can happen when a flyover is not built," and stories told of significant Wellington / New Zealand architects by the fireside, with questionable flue...
