During my travels, as I visited countless places seeped in rich tapestries of heritage, I would always look for the oldest, who had observed all of these times and places, and all the ones before, to the beginning of history itself. On a clear night, Jupiter would shine brightly above the most incredible places. It put a neat spin on the ancient structures I was seeing, that this most ancient structure had witnessed all of it.
I liked too that it would follow us, from Amsterdam, to Venice, to Rome, to Paris,
my constant companion.
